Somdev devvarman is making a steady progress, to scale up the ranks in ATP singles. He is yet to showcase his talents in an ATP event. Whatever chances he has had soo far, has been very limited.

So far this year he has won three futures and 1 challenger. He had to qualify for the challenger.  He has taken out quality players through his amazing run. What he has done is got all of indian tennis fan all exited. No one has really made a mark in singles since leander paes. Somdev is like a whiff of fresh air to indian tennis, a much needed one.

He has entered Vancouver challenger this week and has tough 2nd Round.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                $50,000 FIFTH THIRD BANK TENNIS CHALLENGER, Lexington, USA
